• Free home insulation for everyone (EDF)
EDF Energy are offering free cavity wall and free loft insulation to everyone this winter, even if you are not one of their customers. Not all properties will be suitable for insulation. Those that already have pre-existing cavity wall insulation, loft insulation that's more than 60mm thick, or if EDF's contractors are unable to insulate at least two thirds of the total loft surface or wall cavities are not eligible. You have to apply before 31 March 2012. They will review the offer if more than 200,000 people apply, so be quick.

Many Virgin Media Broadband customers may not be aware they can get digital photos printed each month for free (you just pay the postage) with Snapfish. How many depends on your Broadband package. Customers on the "L" package get 10 free prints, "XL" get 50, and "XXL" and "Broadband 100" get 100 (see table half way down the page this link leads to).
