Pizza Hut UK has teamed up with O2 to launch free wifi across its UK Dine-In restaurants. As with other retailers who have partnered with O2, the service is free for everyone, no matter which mobile or broadband provider you are with. You just sign up once with O2 Wifi and you can then use service in any Pizza Hut UK Dine-In restaurant, or at any of O2's wifi locations nationwide. O2 Wifi also has a free iPhone and Android app which makes sign-up even easier.

Debenhams provides free O2 Wifi throughout all its shops, making it one of the largest free Wifi coverages of any department store in the UK. Customers only need register to O2 Wifi once and they will then be automatically connected whenever they are in range. O2 Wifi is for everyone regardless of their mobile or broadband provider.

Simply use your wireless enabled smartphone, laptop or tablet to connect to one of the Cloud WiFi Hotspots at popular high street locations. Sky have also launched a free Sky Cloud WiFi app for iPhone, iPad, iPod and Android smartphones to make accessing the service easier. There are no data or time limits when accessing the service, and up to 6 wireless devices can use the service in each household.

Free Wifi at Starbucks

You no longer need a registered Starbucks Card to use the free Wifi at Starbucks across the UK. Simply enable your laptop, tablet or mobile device in Starbucks stores where you see Free Wi-Fi signs. Once you’re connected, open your web browser and go to www.btopenzone.com. Just click on the ‘Connect’ button and you will be instantly connected to free Wi-Fi. Each Wi-Fi session lasts for 2 hours but you can have an unlimited number of sessions every day - just reconnect after 2 hours.

Pizza Express diners can browse the web free of charge using the free wi-fi connection installed in each of its restaurants, provided by The Cloud. When connecting to the service for the first time you'll be invited to register with The Cloud, if you have not done so already. Once registered you use use the same account to access free wifi anywhere else where it is offered by The Cloud.

Cafè Nero Free Wifi

All of Cafè Nero's 400+ nationwide coffee shops offer free wifi access, provided by The Cloud. There's a simple two-step registration process to access the service, unless you already have an account with The Cloud Wi-Fi network in which case you can just log in using your existing account details.

You can get free wifi at any of McDonald's restaurants. The service is also registered with Mumsnet's Family Friendly WiFi programme, which means they have placed filters on the service to prevent inappropriate content from being viewed.

BT Openzone is a paid for wifi service available in over 600,000 locations in the UK and Ireland. While most locations offer a paid for service, at Roadchef's approx 20 sites across Britain it’s free to use with no subscription required. All sites also have a Costa Coffee so you can sit and enjoy a hot drink or snack while enjoying the free wifi (although you don't have to of course).
